Aysia specializes in working with the 0-18 age population, transitional age youth (TAY) population, families and trauma. She has been working with children and families who have been a part of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and the foster care system in California since 2016. She has also worked with men and women affected by domestic violence.
Aysia is trained in multiple evidence based practices including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Functional Family Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and Incredible Years child and parent groups.

Education
Aysia earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of La Verne in child development in 2013.
She earned Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in African American Families from Pacific Oaks College in 2016.

In her work she has learned that everyone has a story and unique challenges that affect them and she finds great pleasure in helping families and individuals work through their situations and develop skills that will benefit them in their daily lives.
